FAQ
Where are you based and do you travel?
I currently live in Asheville, NC and yes I do travel! If I have to travel any longer than an hour, I will put a traveling fee along with your session fee.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 2 weeks, unless you fall under the category of a big family event or family session 3. The usual workflow is that I will deliver your gallery with watermarks. You will then choose the photos that you want that come along with your session price and afterwards if you want more, then you can purchase them individually or I can make a bundle package for you.
For example, if you have a maternity session you will pay your session price + any traveling fees that may apply and receive the full gallery. From this gallery you will pick the 30 photos that you like the most by favoriting them and I will deliver them to you without the watermarks. But if there are 15 more photos that you really like, then you can buy those 15 photos.
Do you take pictures for events?
I do! I've done a few events in the past. Please know that I work with the lighting that is around us; I am currently not practicing with flash photography, so just keep in mind that I will try my best with the lighting that we are given and brighten photos while editing but if you know that your event will have dark or dim lighting, I may not be your best choice. If you still want to choose me, the rate is by the hour.
I want to have a family session but it's more than 20 people. Do you have any packages for this?
Yes! So the family session #3 option is $350 for 13-20 people. If you have more than 20 people in your group then it's $25 per each person after the 20 mark.
Example: If you have a 30 person group session it'd be $600
(10 x $25 = $250 + $350 = $600)
25 Person Group Session: $475
(5 x $25 = $125 + $350 = $475)
I had a big family event or a family session #3. When will I get my photos?
With these big event sessions (like a family reunion or a large group of people) it could take anywhere from 4-6 weeks.
Do you offer any children sessions?
I don't officially offer it, but I will do it! I have taken school pictures for a preschool for 2 years now and I know how much effort it takes to get these sweet little ones to smile and enjoy the photo session. Contact me of what you are wanting to do and we will see if we can work something out! (9 month old pictures, 12 month old pictures)
Do you offer engagement sessions?
I am happy to capture your engagement pictures! I do know, however, that many wedding photographers will offer a bundle package for engagement sessions + their wedding package. So make sure you ask your wedding photographer if they offer this! Would love to save you some money.
Same goes for maternity sessions. I love capturing maternity photos, but some newborn photographers, again, will give you a discount or bundle a package for you if you choose to photograph with them for both sessions.
What would you say your editing style is?
I'd say I typically edit with warm tones and sometimes a pop of color.
is there any way we can do a mini session?
Yes! We can do a mini session. Mini sessions will be 30 minutes long at half the price (not excluding traveling fees) for half the photos you would typically get in a 60 minute session.
